"I’ve taken my family on many trips and stayed in many rental properties. This place was something my wife and two children will never forget. The cabin is exactly as described, extremely clean and spacious with a wonderful outdoor layout. What is different about this property is the way it makes you feel. For lack of a better term this place is alive ! There is a peaceful aura that is unmistakable as soon as you pull up in the driveway. The next few nights are spent realizing that the best things in life are time spent with family making wonderful memories. This cabin brings out those realizations and feelings and I as a father am very thankful for the opportunity to stay here. We are already looking forward to coming back. "

"Staying at this bed and breakfast was like stepping into another time. The mansion is beautifully preserved, and every room has its own unique personality, like an art gallery at every turn. Even the music playing throughout the mansion during breakfast made you feel transported. Jim and Susie were so warm and welcoming. They waited up for us when we arrived late, gave us a thoughtful tour, and somehow still had the energy to make us feel completely at home. Over breakfast the next morning (which was out of this world—I’m still drooling over the homemade waffles and cinnamon butter), they even surprised us with a sweet engagement gift. It was such an unexpected and heartfelt gesture. You can feel the love and care this family pours into the stay and hospitality. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left. Highly recommend."

"The area is all antique homes. Alot of farm land. I always thought New York was just cement and high rises."
