"We enjoyed our stay there it was quiet and peaceful very remote. Great view of the lake/river with quiet neighbors. We stayed cool with the air-conditioned units and lots of ceiling fans since it's 109 degrees. Pet friendly with lots of space for them to roam. Float deck wasn't available due to low water levels but very nice. It is not for anyone who is unable to climb stairs. The stairs to the loft area are very steep and narrow. Otherwise was a wonderful stay. The host was exceptional responsive throughout our stay."

"My family enjoyed the property. Fishing was good from the dock. The kids enjoyed the kayak and small boat. The kitchen was as spacious as they come, plenty of room to move around and lots of counter space for a big group. The neighborhood and lake is private, pretty peaceful overall. Parking for 4 or more vehicles easily. Very comfortable seating on back porch."

"Oh my gosh, this place was such a hidden gem in my old hometown!I have wanted to experience a barndo or tiny house for years, and I was looking for a peaceful home away from home where I could rest, enjoy nature, work on book projects, and reconnect with myself. This was exactly that.From the moment I arrived, it was easy to find, and I was greeted by the sweetest pet family member, Scooby. He jogged up the driveway with his tail wagging, smiling, and ready to play. It was such a beautiful welcome.I also met Lisa, who was so warm, charming, and hospitable. She made me feel comfortable right away. Once I got settled in, the space felt like home. It was cozy, beautiful, quiet, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The bed was comfortable, and the setup was so cute. It feels like you are hours away from town, but you are not.They also had fresh eggs, biscuits, butter, water, and a sweet welcome note waiting. I did not eat the food, but the thoughtfulness meant a lot.This stay exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through or even someone local who wants a quick getaway from the busyness of life. It is perfect for peaceful rest and quiet renewal.I did not get to experience the fire pit this time, but I plan to come back in the cooler months for the full experience.Thank you so much, Lisa and Richard, for your wonderful hospitality. I truly enjoyed my stay."

"The staff she was excellent kind helpful and sweet the room was in good condition air-conditioning was very good. When I booked the room I was thinking it would be a flop of a room. But it wasn't yes the hotel has been in that area through floods and bad years but they have tried to get it going and they have it wasn't expensive or what you would expect a hotel in the area to be it works perfectly for a low budget like I have it made me want to return again. I hope if I do I get the same room again. Thank you for the awesome service. "

"Overall not a good experience. House was not clean prior to our arrival. Host was appalled and negotiated the cleaning fee refund but was hard to get in touch with."

"The property is very nice and super clean. They had a nice assortment of tea for me (which I had not requested) and had bottled water in the refrigerator - another nice touch that not everyone does.We did not meet the hostess but she was quick to answer questions beforehand. There was a nice long carport that would accommodate several cars single file.Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again."
