Lovely little place near the centre of Warnambool. Heater and TV provided and very welcoming. Water is either from the bathroom tap or at the bar (when its open) - so just make sure to fill up if you don't feel like filling from the tap.

Lovely overnight stay

A lovely overnight stay. The rooms are very basic but comfortable, shared bathrooms very clean. We enjoyed dinner downstairs, delicious food!

Know what HISTORIC means before you book

First thing to keep in mind is that this is a historic hotel. That means shared bathroom and shower stalls. So long as you're OK with that, this is actually a nice spot. Included split system AirCon and TV, both hard to find at a historic location. Onsite food was good and reasonable. Well worth the price paid.

First rate food and service, clean shared bathrooms but broken door handles and sink was damaged but serviceable The bed was comfortable, very squeaky but no issue Aircon was delightfully cold. For one night, one my own great, would I take my wife to stay there, no.

Great they offered a family room for 5, however, the shared bathrooms for male and female were a major let down. The bathrooms were freezing cold and slippery tiles made them unsafe to walk on when wet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating when my son spilled his hot chocolate and even heated our vegan home cooked food.

We had a wonderful week at the Cally Hotel, myself and the two children. Everything was close by, the children had their hot chocolate in bed with free wifi and the tv. Staff were lovely, and the meals exceptional even for the children. Will definitely return to stay again.

We had a nice stay with a quiet night here. The staff is very kind. Also the food is tasty and there is a wide choice of it. And not to forget, the duvet was so cozy. Would definitely recommend it here!

Great location. Fantastic staff. Only minor issue was cold shower at 10pm ( but that is possibly my stupidity). I will DEFINITELY recommend and stay there again :-)
