The food in the restaurant was absolutely beautiful, the best steak ive had, melted in your mouth, the staff were helpful, polite and the decor throughout was very boutique..would definitely book to go again."

"A conveniently located hotel with car parking at the rear of the building. Receptionist was pleasant but spent long periods on the phone whilst the check in queue grew. Room was clean and the double bed was comfortable although the quilt was extremely thin. The hand basin was small and had limescale deposits and the taps were very old. Breakfast was good and the quality of food items was evident. The dining room had a striking and impressive decor. Oerall the hotel was extremely good value for money"

The staff were friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again 👍"

"Very clean and spacious bedrooms however they use an air vacuum toilet system which it was acknowledged to me was useless. I used the pub toilet at times because of continual blockages. That’s dreadful. It is a pub and was very good with pleasant staff. The breakfast was limited to usual hot food, except only fried eggs, limited continental breakfast. We had one evening meal and not brilliant however the fish restaurants in Amble compensate. Parking is good and plentiful on-site. The pub is difficult to find using a car satnav but ok if you use Google. Apparently the pub has been there 3 years and many satnavs don’t recognise the estate it’s on."
