Room was spacious and very clean. I guess our room was designed for wheelchair users because the bathroom had handles and rails, which all meant it was really large with plenty of space for our stuff. As a hotel on a motorway services station we knew it would be fairly basic but that was fine . It was quiet and no problem parking. For the price of under £60 for a twin room it was excellent value.

Made a mistake on my last review and I'm really upset by it I stayed in the southbound services and reviewed it as northbound and I'm so upset by this the rooms and staff here on the northbound side are so good , rooms are always clean and staff go above and beyond to help you

Pros - Friendly, helpful staff. Secure access to room - felt safe. Good price through Expedia. £5 to park overnight giving receptionist car registration - car parked right outside and could see it through window. Comfy bed. Clean. Right next to amenities of services. Cons - had the room next to reception and was disturbed all night with the corridor door outside our room, opening and closing very loudly. Switched bathroom light switch on in the morning and it fizzed and the bathroom light was flashing - informed staff on check out who were very apologetic and said they will report it. Filter in kettle grubby. A small fridge would have been very useful to store food for our onward travel. Better than expected, would stay again. Much more superior to South M40 sister.

Fantastic staff on reception, easy to park and sort parking fee at the desk. Room clean and a good size for a family room. Very quiet given the location, which was great! Breakfast is served in the service station next door - the only option is full English so skip if you want something else. Comfortable beds and room not too hot. Would happily stay again.
