"Witham Cottage is a lovely small cottage with small windows and a super stable door. It is immaculate and very comfy. It is surrounded by the most well kept country gardens I have ever seen. There are several sitting out areas with tables and chairs complete with large bronze deer and all illuminated at night. Kathy and Alan the owners are lovely. This is the best cottage and garden we have ever stayed in. Thank you"

"Annual girls trip; expectation of relaxation and fun. Upon arrival the Lodge was clean, new carpets, clean walls, new kitchen and well appointed/decorated throughout- looks can be deceiving. Preliminary walk around and checks found there was no fire alarms, fire blanket and no Welcome pack or inventory list of what to expect or where to go for emergency planning. "A relaxing, well-equipped, cute ‘hideaway’. Hosts Natasha and John (who live in the adjoining farmhouse) could not have been more kind and welcoming although they were in no way intrusive. "We had a lovely stay. The house had everything we needed. Good location with easy parking. The owner was there on arrival and showed us around, which was very helpful! The only thing which wasn't clear on the listing (I also looked on other sites) was that the garden is not fully fenced and with a river at the bottom of the garden, children would need to be supervised at all times. I would recommend this place. The hot tub was great!"

"The place was cute, and the neighbor was very kind, he came out to talk to us when we were trying to figure out parking the first night. The drive isn’t big enough for any car larger than a Mini, but there’s ample space for parking on the curb. The only real downside was the amount of bugs within the property. "8 of us came here to celebrate a joint birthday over a long weekend. The house was gorgeous, clean,spacious, beautiful surroundings and of course the amazing hot tub! Not criticism but helpful to know if you're planning a visit- take extra towels with you. They do provide towels and bathrobes but no washing machine facility, so after a hot tub dip you have to use the same towel the next morning. They provided us with a cake, loaf of bread and butter, which was great, but not many other pantry...

"Throughly enjoyed our stay, we had a large party of 17 and the owners catered for our every need including high chairs, travel cots, tea, coffee and milk. "We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!"

"The property was great and in a nice village. Local cafe at Manor House Farm is worth a visit as is the nearest pub Hare & Hounds. We visited Lincolnshire City centre which was lovely, the castle, cathedral and historic prison were all in walking distance once parked up in centre. We also visited a National trust Old Workhouse which was very interesting. Lots of things to do in Lincolnshire and well worth a visit."

"Due to the high calibre of equipment at the lodge i was surprised to find no towels (didnt expect any for hot tub use), but i managed to get Nicks number and he kindly got his housekeeper to rectify. I dont recall seeing in small print that towels were not provided? But he acted quickly to help. Am not impressed with Vrbo, very unsatisfactory service from them."
