Wonderful friendly people, charming rooms, spectacular views both in the day, at sunset (straight on view over the valley) and at night (black sky, tons of stars). HUGE tasty breakfast, complementary chardonnay, just so pleasant and relaxing in every way.

Clean, quiet, and convenient

I travel for work frequently and my travels have brought me to Gettysburg many times in the past. Often in my work travels, I'm more concerned with booking a big chain hotel to earn more and more points than anything else. This time, however, I decided to try something different. The location was excellent, near downtown and with a parking garage next door. The rooms were great! We stayed in two, a queen sized bedroom on the third floor and a king sized bedroom on the second floor. Both were very quiet, very comfortable, and not your standard bland hotel room yet had very modern conveniences. My partner and I stayed here for two nights, and had a relaxing little vacation away from the bustle of D.C. Olga was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. She cooked omelettes bright and early every morning, and always had coffee, tea, and snacks available throughout the day. There are a lot of vineyards and breweries nearby to visit, and the air-conditioned rooms were a comfortable retreat from the afternoon heat. Phil and Betty are wonderful hosts. The house is charming with antique decor and all the modern conveniences. The room was comfortable and quiet, and breakfast was delicious

This is an Inn in a very rural area. It is very peaceful and this was much needed to quiet the mind. I went on the verge of the leaves changing in the fall so it was quite beautiful with changing leaves but still green grass and some plants blooming. I brought my small dog in this solo trip and it was a nice touch to leave a couple of milk bones in the room for him. I didn't go to the dining area for breakfast or dinner so I can't comment of this portion.

The Brafferton Inn is old but really cool. It was close to everything we wanted to see. The staff were wonderful and Brian was a great host and a wonderful chef. The breakfast was delicious! I would recommend this B&B for your stay in Gettysburg.

This place is great

The house is absolutely beautiful and has a museum within it of civil war artifacts. Laura and Ronald were amazing hosts and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here. 10/10! I can’t wait to go back.

It was a clean and comfortable room that embodied the character of Gettysburg. We enjoyed living the history and taking in the atmosphere that resembled the Civil War era!z
