Waterbury

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Ausblick. The house was spotless, well stocked and comfortable. The yard and the view of the mountains were spectacular. Our four grandchildren, ages 4 through 10, spent hours and hours at the little pond on the property, catching and releasing little frogs and fish, and they enjoyed clambering up the rock formation in the yard. The swimming pool was great. There was lots to do nearby - we swam and rented kayaks at the Waterbury Center...

Jesus

A large, historic house with a turret and wrap-around porch, surrounded by a well-maintained garden.

Maplecroft Bed & Breakfast

Barre

10/10 Excellent

Gorgeous period B&B, and Caryn, the owner, takes the "bed" and "breakfast" of a stay seriously, with a Quality mattress/bedding and breakfast from scratch recipes with homemade bread. Walked right across street for good food, and several others a short walk or drive away...local businesses who care about your service ( not chain restaurants). Would stay here again whenever in area! Thank you, Caryn♡

Stowe Cabins in the Woods

Waterbury Center

10/10 Excellent

It is a cabin in the woods, not a 5 star hotel. If you want Egyptian cotton sheets, a brand new expensive mattress, 5 star room service dining and mints on your pillow with turn down service, it's not for you. If you want a place that is like your own little apartment, clean sheet's and towels, no long hallways to walk down to get to your room, no noise from thin hotel walls, a place that welcomes your beloved dog, some tranquil peace and quiet, hosts that are welcoming and warm and treat you...

High Hill Inn

East Montpelier

10/10 Excellent

I wish I had more time to stay in this beautiful B&B. The accommodations were exquisite, and everything was well-run and well-kept. I took a chance to stay there since the more recent reviews were terrible, but all of the others were top-notch. I am so happy that I listened to my intuition. The property, inside and out, was beyond my expectations, and I will definitely be staying there again. Ann Marie and Joe are excellent hosts, and Joe even cooked an amazing breakfast!!! You are one lucky...
