Galt House Hotel Trademark Collection by Wyndham

10/10 Excellent

"I have stayed at the Galt house a few times. It is a great, conveniently located place with a great view."

The Grady

8/10 Good

"Only spent 1 night: checked in at 6pm and left 9am. Pros: Hotel and room was very modern. Loved the lobby Loved the high ceilings which made the room feel much larger. The gal at the front desk, Angie, was extremely helpful. Cons: the thermostat in my room (202) wasn’t working. It was a cold and rainy day so I wanted the room to feel warmer. Angie tried to assist and couldn’t get it to work (turning the temperature/heat up). Instead cold air blasted above the bed (my room was colder than the hallway and common areas). She ended up calling the GM who gave her access to a room heater. They called in maintenance but they couldn’t arrive until 11pm. I learned this is an ongoing issue. We tried to turn off air and I agreed to give it time until I returned after dinner to determine if I will do a room change. The cold blast did stop and the room heater kept me comfortable all night. Other cons: wish the bed was comfortable, lots of dust under both night stands and hair on the “makeup black cloth” grossed me out a bit. If they could fix the air, bed and cleanliness of the room, I would stay again."

Econo Lodge Louisville Downtown

8/10 Good

"This is the second time I have stayed here. Very clean. The hairdryer in room stopped working and I called the front desk. I was very impressed by how fast they came to my room and took care of my needs. A+. Also, the room was Very clean. Great housekeeping. The only complaint I had was the vending machines kept my money and they were not working. Another guest on the floor had the same issue. I ended up walking across the street to a gas station for snacks and a drink. I would not advise walking in the night alone. Alot of homeless people begging for money. Not at the property though. I felt very safe at the property. I recommend this hotel and would stay again. Also breakfast area was also very clean. Fast check in as well."
