It was okay for the purpose we stayed there for. At times , we were barely there , because the neighborhood this VRBO was in, was interesting enough. There were plenty restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance. This is something we loved. The neighborhood was pretty quiet yet other units, or the other unit in the building , was pretty noisy sometimes. So, if anyone wants a quiet getaway, idk, but if you love Ballston quarter area, you or your partner or friends, I would stay here.

Does the job

Lucky was great with communication. My only complaints were somewhat out of the host’s control. Whoever lives below would be very loud from 11 pm-1 am each night, making it impossible to sleep. The internet also would not work- Lucky was quick to respond and try and solve the problem and check in to see how things were. The couch was not the couch in the picture and not very comfortable especially if someone had to sleep on it. All in all it did he job with a convenient location

Good place to stay

Our four-day stay was good, although marred by an air-conditioning problem when we arrived on a hot and muggy afternoon. Although unable to fix it immediately, the hosts were responsive and brought in a portable A/C unit plus fans, which tidied us over until the problem was fixed the next morning. One other recommendation which I've passed along to the hosts: The big-screen TV is good but using it wasn't and local and most cable channels were not accessible. We recommended they provide regular cable TV service, and their response indicates that they probably will. Would I recommend staying here just the same? Yes, I certainly would. Those problems are not stoppers and they are fixable. The location was also very convenient for our trip.

This rental is the first floor of a two-story structure. It was ok. The good: The neighborhood feels safe. It's easy walking distance to restaurants and a Target that has groceries. It has two dedicated parking spots. It was clean. The not so good: Poor sound insulation from second floor. We could hear footsteps, the shower and loud conversations. Parking for a third vehicle during the weekdays is very limited in the neighborhood. There is patch of mold on the bathroom ceiling where the pipes above apparently leaked. And other little things like no washcloths, lack of toilet paper, burnt out light bulb, limited kitchen utensils and no dressers in the bedrooms. Bottom line: It's serviceable, but in my opinion, not worth what we paid for it.

The location was the only good thing about this place. There’s plastic on the couches that sit very low to the floor and are difficult to get up from. This is like a college rental. The minute I walked in we could hear everything the upstairs neighbors were saying and doing, not even during a party, just walking and talking. My elderly father was with me who has a heart issue and needs sleep so I immediately messaged the property owner asking for a refund since we could not possibly stay there. He told me to cancel, the app wouldn’t let me. He then stopped communicating with me. We left within minutes and had to pay for a hotel. The property owner never helped with anything.

A great property in close proximity to restaurants and the metro station. Clean. Very good shower. Big kitchen. Big TV. Great communications with host. Great neighborhood. I would stay here again. It was in close proximity by car to Georgetown University and the Georgetown Hospital We were in town for medical treatment. Pet friendly. We brought our dog.

Overall the stay was great!! We stayed one night my only complaints would be that the place was supposed to be available at 3 and when we got there we wait 30 mins on cleaning lady to finsh couch wasn't comfortable at all for any of us but again we enjoyed our stay wasnt any issue checking in....

A quick overnight

We were in town for a concert with our kiddos. This condo was perfect for us. Its in a beautiful neighborhood. Quiet and very comfortable. Also, perfectly located for easy access to DC with lots of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops within walking distance. Our host was very kind and responsive when I had questions regarding check-in. Would absolutely stay here again if we have the opportunity to return.

The apartment was clean, had a very large television, and the beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for a short walk to the Metro station for exploring DC. The only negative is that it’s an older home with 4 apartments, and we had people above us the final night of our stay, and you could hear ever step they took below where we were. If you’ve lived in an apartment or older home this probably won’t bother you…but if you’re sensitive to other noise this may not be the ideal place for you.

D.C. sightseeing trip

It was clean and worked for us. There was a washer and dryer but it was in the basement and we needed quarters to use them. Overall it was a nice place. Small but we weren't there much besides to sleep and shower.

This is a great place within easy walking distance of anything you would need including the Metro station. It was very clean and has everything you will need for your stay. The host is SUPER responsive, quick, kind and helpful. It's a good thing, because neither VRBO nor Expedia communicated anything about arrival or leaving directions. I would highly recommend this for your next vacation .
