"Poolside was not open in March. Bartender had to get management to make drinks.... management took forever to read from bartenders guide to make super easy drinks. Left my kindle in room (totally my bad) but called front desk and inquired and still haven't heard back!!! Staff definitely riped us off!!!! Wonder why guests don't want them in your room???? "

"The building appears to be quite aged. The rooms are compact and exhibit significant issues, including an unusual appearance in the ceiling paint. The door does not close securely. The bathroom shower has low water pressure, and there is an insufficient supply of towels. The air conditioning system is not functioning optimally, as the room remains warm despite the thermostat being set to the lowest temperature. The only commendable aspect is the availability of garage parking."

"Very Disappointing and Not Worth the Price I stayed at Hamilton Washington DC and was extremely disappointed. The entire hotel is old and outdated — the rooms, the furniture, the bathroom — everything looks worn out and in need of serious renovation. The photos on the booking website showed a completely different picture: modern, clean, and well‑maintained rooms. In reality, nothing matched those images. When we raised our concerns at the front desk, we were told: “What do you expect for this price?” — even though the price was far from low. I consider this pure deception. Showing attractive photos online and then providing old, poorly maintained rooms is simply unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel. For the same amount of money, you can find much better options in Washington, DC."

"Modern, clean, beautiful. In a really great location. Rooftop bar is great except VERY expensive. Room was very small in square footage to the point that it was a little hard to have two open suitcases and move around. The small room was a little surprising. However, can’t beat the location. "

"Did not eat breakfast I don’t think they had a breakfast bar?"

"While untucking the bedding for the evening, I noticed dirt or dead bedbug clusters inside both comforters. The t.v. was on and backlit the white comforters revealing the spots. Since both beds had it, I'm sure other rooms do too. The rest of room, hotel, and amenities was o.k. Breakfast buffet was excellent!"

"The room was on the small side but well appointed. The location was amazing with many restaurants nearby. The Metro station is literally across the street. Finally, the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay there again. "

"Clean and located close to everything. Our room was very comfortable with a living room area and pull out couch. The breakfast buffet was chaotic and ate up a lot of time as there was no organization and very long lines. I would suggest skipping it. But otherwise everything was great. "
