Wonderful sunfilled rowhouse in the Petworth section of DC.
Home has beautiful wooden floors, sun filled living room, A cooks kitchen with a stunning huge deck off the kitchen, which makes great for outdoor entertaining or dining. Master bedroom with king size bed, with private bath with a deep jacuzzi tub. Two additional bedrooms one with a queen bed, the other with a full size bed. Main bathroom, modern with jacuzzi tub. First floor with 1/2 bath.
Home is located less than one mile from Metro. Grocery stores and restaurants near by as well as a Wallmart.

I really enjoyed this property! It was as billed. The neighborhood was nice and felt safe for myself and daughter. The restaurants near by like Honeymoon chicken and Timber pizza were great. Relatively short drives to points of interest and always street parking in front. It was inviting from the street.

Comfortable and nice location

My family and I went to DC for a family memorial in Takoma Park and we wanted a place in DC that was close to both TP and downtown DC. This was the perfect location for our trip. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living room areas were very nice. Recommend for any DC trip. Near Metro stop and the location is nice especially if you have a car.

Great stay in D.C,

We had a great stay at Tyrone's place in DC. The house is clean, roomy and bright with a large outdoor deck with four tricyles, perfect for my my twin granddaughters (age 5). Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. in the kitchen, more towels than we needed, nice front porch with comfy chairs and room for both our cars in the locked parking area. We very much appreciated Tyrone's flexibility for a late checkout when we had a minor emergency on the morning of our last day.

Good place for exploring DC

we had a good time to start our trips around DC. The location is perfect to use the metro or buses. There are parking lots in front of the houses for your car as well (parking was no problem at all). The apartment could need some renovations, but in total we felt comfortable during our stay.

Hot in DC

Nice clean place to stay while visiting DC. Short drive to metro. Be sure to get to the metro before rush hour to get a parking space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Walmart is a short drive away to get groceries. It was very nice to be able to have the parking space behind the unit, as the spaces in front filled up quickly. My biggest complaint is that we couldn’t get the temperature of the home to go below 73 degrees even after contacting the owner. If you are a hot sleeper, it makes it harder to get a good night’s rest. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

Great Place!

This was a perfect place to stay for a visit to DC. The metro was a 15 minute walk and was easy to take into the city. The house was clean and comfortable. It was a great place to come back and relax after a day of a lot of walking. Tyrone was a great host!

Great stay in DC

We had a great stay in DC. The house was very comfortable and very clean. We drove into the city and took the metro (parked at Fort Totten). Fun dinners at Oohh & Aahh and Timber pizza. Would definitely recommend to others.

Nice and roomy place

The house was very roomy and well furnished. Beds were comfy and the air conditioning kept the place very comfortable (t was very hot during our stay). Access to the metro was close and the super walmart, which was very near to the metro as well, made it easy to get cheap groceries and staples. We would definitely stay again!

DC Highlight

We enjoyed our stay in this VRBO. The steps were a little steep for our handicapped person. Would have like some bath wash, or hand soaps in the bathrooms, but otherwise very well stocked with water bottles and household supplies. Owner was very helpful on a day that half of our family returned to the house without a key. Convenient to Metro too. Nice stay!
