My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The house has a really inviting feel and cozy atmosphere. The location is ideal for peace and quiet, yet close enough to get to any of the key tourists attractions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is considering a stay in the area. We look forward to going back.

The house was great! The decor was beautiful and the furniture was very comfortable. There was plenty of space for my family and I to gather. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities and provided all of the utensils needed to cook. The beds were very comfortable with nice linen. The location of the house is perfect to get around the DMV area. The host was friendly and very accommodating to us.

Our family of 12 (ages 6 to 65) stayed at this clean, large home to celebrate our son's graduation from residency. It was perfect for us. Host was very responsive to our needs. Kitchen was well stocked, kids loved the game room and we all enjoyed the large outdoor deck. We would definitely stay there again.

The house is ideal for large families with four bedrooms next to each other in the upper floor. There are two more beds downstairs, next to the playroom which our kids loved and spend most of the time playing billiard. Highly recommend this home! Spacious, clean, very comfortable beds, kitchen had everything we needed, fun game room and huge tv for kids downstairs, and very responsive hospitable host! Two families with four adults and six kids (ages 10 - 14) stayed for a week. Location was very convenient for sightseeing. Quiet neighborhood. Our families have been traveling together for years and we have stayed in many different rental homes. This DC home is one of the best! You won’t be disappointed.

Love the house- awesome space for 12 people. Game room for teens was perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed. Extra blankets would’ve been helpful. Only drawback for us is we planned to walk to the metro. Walking with families felt less secure. If we had planned with a rental car we would give everything 5 stars! Awesome host, very responsive, super helpful.

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home. We visited from Oregon with nine teenagers to visit universities so we had a big group and we all had a great time. Zero issues with the house and host. The host was fabulous and very kind. I’d recommend renting a car because it will save you time and money. We felt safe in the neighborhood. As you venture out just be aware of your surroundings like any new place you visit. The home was in a fairly new neighborhood and was clean and comfortable, we felt right at home. I take teens on annual trips and I’ll definitely try to secure this house again. Fabulous experience and a fabulous home.

This is a wonderful property. The house is nicely arranged and you can tell the host, Ephrame, really put great thought into its layout and what would make it a pleasant stay for his guests. Even with 8 adults, the home felt spacious. From the basement area, that includes a large screen TV, pool table and sound system, to the beautiful backyard area, this house does not disappoint. Ephrame was an OUTSTANDING host. He was accommodating throughout our whole trip. We were picked up from the airport, allowed to check in early and even allowed to relax in the home after having several delays on our flight back home. He was quick to check in and put forth an effort to take care of us when we needed help. This is a great property close to all the areas you’d want to visit - book today!

We enjoyed the DC Guest House! We came with multiple family groups, from ages 22 to 57. The young adults loved the game room with the 2 queen beds! After a fun day of touring DC, they would often disappear downstairs to play pool, watch movies, and connect their personal gaming console to the SmartTV. The large family-friendly kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook at home … a beautiful dinnerware set with lovely silverware, pots, pans, and cookware. We loved being close to the DC sites — to avoid the worry/expense of parking in DC, we took the Metro most days, parking at Anacostia (less than 10 minutes drive from the house). Highly recommend getting a 3-day unlimited SmarTrip metro pass. We also loved using the Capital BikeShare to travel to the different sites. Ephrame (property owner) was very attentive and responded immediately to every contact/question. The house was very clean and fresh, quite a welcome atmosphere after fun tourist days. Everyone in our party of 8 had a place to chill. The beds/sheets were comfy, the linens were soft, and the bathrooms were clean. THANK YOU!!

We stayed at this beautifully furnished home from May 28th - 31st to site see around Washington DC. The home was in a very nice neighborhood. When we arrived the host met us at the home and gave us a tour. He even help me take off the luggage rack from my vehicle. During our tour of the home, everything was as the listing on the website. The decor was just breath taking. My wife is very particular about certain things in a home. She inspects everything to make sure we don't bring any critters back to our home. During her inspection she found hair on the linen and a stain on the mattress cover. Once the owner was notified he rectified everything and replaced the mattress cover. The cleaning crew needs to pay more attention to detail during their cleaning. Overall we enjoyed our stay and even walked around the neighborhood each morning. We received daily texts to see if we needed anything from the host. Ephrame is one of the best host we have had over the many places we have stayed. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this place to family and friends.

STAY AWAY! Home looks beautiful but the owner is a pain. Constantly texted me every single day while I was there on vacation with my family. He was always watching my every move which felt awkward and weird. He would text me in the middle of the night asking me why the garage door isn’t closed all the way. The home had lots of issues such as master bathroom door not locking, no air conditioning for top floor, broken pieces at pool table, broken bath tub handles in master bath, uneven bathroom door, and electrical outlets missing covers. The dishwashing soap and handwashing soap was watered down to the max. Shortly after checking out, he texts me about broken parts on the pool table which were already there. This is only part of the list. He constantly hassled me for a good review. He also came by to open the mail while peaking on us. He also texted me his exterminator was coming and the backyard was off-limits for two hours. So much inconveniences for the amount of money I paid. If you want to feel on edge on your vacation, this would be the home. If you want to enjoy your vacation in peace, STAY AWAY. I’ve never ever been treated in such a disgusting way. I hope no other families experience this. We traveled with two little ones and I hated for them to witness this. This review would actually be a zero star review if possible.

Never know you can find this kind of house in Washington DC , downtown . This place is a one of a kind that one can’t find it in DC . Once you are in the house won’t let you to feel to go outside. It’s like a presidential palace. Stayed for wedding for a week. Why you book a one bedroom suit hotel while you can rent this whole house for same price . And many people can sleep too . The games down stairs not only for kids also grown ups can’t get enough of it . The deck work is excellent . The decoration the wall pictures are off topic . Well designed . Can say more and more . It’s a must have .
