Everything was great…clean room, staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not included with our stay but we ate in the restaurant for breakfast one morning. Buffet style… very good but a little pricey. Fairly close to the metro rail. Easy walk to the Ballston Station. The only negative thing I can say is the parking is confusing. It is public parking as well as hotel guests. It’s like a maze. We would stay there again.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful, especially reception staff. Barely had to wait during check-in process. The lobby of this hotel always smells so nice, I feel so welcomed as soon as I walk in. Room was clean and provided amenities are appreciated. I've stayed at this hotel previously, because I knew that it was a very close walk to the DC metro as well as having a lot of restaurants and shops within the area. I hope to be able to stay here again during another trip to DC.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Housekeeping staff pleasant. Ridiculous that guests pay $40 a night parking fees; same as general public and extra $25 a day fee at checkout. Great diner right across street for wonderful breakfasts!!

This excellently located property needs some extra attention to detail as it ages. The carpet on our seventh floor hallway needs to be replaced. This was the second time we stayed in the hotel where we reported mold around the bathtub. The bathroom sink didn't drain and the phone didn’t work. But the Westin bed is still lovely and the staff here is nice. And one more thing…we never received any information before or during check in on breakfast options, so we went elsewhere for breakfast.

I would not recommend this hotel. The only plus’s are it had a Starbucks and was located in a nice area with many restaurant/bar options. The hotel restaurant was horrible both mornings we went. There is mold in the bathrooms because there is no ventilation in them. They also lock the air conditioning so it never gets very cool on the room - not fun when it’s over 100- degrees out. Very disappointing considering it’s a Westin hotel.
