Top Wassenaar Hotel Reviews
Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Center
10/10 Excellent
"We spent a month in Europe using 11 different lodging locations. Staying 3 separate times at the Sheraton which topped our list as the best. Most comfortable bed, clean & spacious room, friendly & helpful staff, connected to AMS was convenient. To top that their restaurant offered a deli’s meal with great service. The one drawback was the one time we ordered room service the food wasn’t of the same caliber that we received in the restaurant Highly recommend this hotel"
Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol
8/10 Good
"Overall, the property was great, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The Restaurant was nice and our waitress was friendly. On the other hand, the wait staff in the cafe' where we went for our lunch were much less friendly or helpful. Once we were seated, we were basically ignored unless we asked for assistance. It took us between 30-40 minutes to have our order taken and about 20 minutes before it was served, all this while other guests who spoke the native language were be seated and served much faster. The food was good, but again when we were finished dining, we had to wait about 20 minutes or so to get our check so we could pay. If the Cafe' had been busy this could have been understandable, but when we arrived there were only about 5-6 tables in the whole place that had people seated, many were just 1-2 people at them. I normally don't like to be negative on reviews, but when it was clear that we were being ignored because we didn't speak the language, that's just not good or courteous service!"
