"Certainly, Olatunde: I stayed in a very nice hotel and had a pleasant experience. The gym was well equipped and helped me keep active during my stay. The spa facilities were also very good and made it easy to relax. I also enjoyed the lovely surroundings, which made the hotel even more special. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"The staff were very helpful. The hotel is very tired and needs some changing and upgrades and the bathroom was not clean with ingrained grubbiness. At breakfast, there was a coffee machine with no facilities for decaffeinated coffee. Just sachets of decaffeinated. Otherwise breakfast was good."

"First time stayed here, and could not fault a thing. (One or two little.niggles but nothing to complain about). Staff were helpful and all very friendly. Room was (as requested) a twin accessible room as mum.needs one these days.- and quiet. Meals were either in restaurant or bar area.Plenty of parking too, including disabled.bays. Overall, would stay here again if in Peterborough."

"Even though this place is set in historic venue, rooms and hallways are okay level and personally I don’t want to come back. Bright white lights room deodorizer are not helpful. It’s not a charming place. Breakfast is very good English breakfast and in nice part of the building. Coffee is good. Staff are friendly and warm welcoming. It is just unfortunate the hard goods are not in place."

"Breakfast - one of the best choices and quality we have experienced, top marks. The staff were outstandingly helpful and courteous, and that was despite an awkward guest who was rather abrupt and disparaging. So very well done to the lady. Dinner was also first class. We also like the practice of not having to clean the rooms unnecessarily, thereby supporting the greener environmental policies and reducing staff tasking. The air conditioning was also very good, with setting controls and not too noisy. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. (The only improvement I could suggest would be to ensure parents with children adhere to the Spa & Pool access timings and behaviour expected, otherwise a faultless stay.)"

"Enjoyed our stay in a garden room. Although the gardens aren’t totally finished it’s nice to see the progress being made and on a sunny day it’s nice to have direct access. Fantastic meal in the kitchen restaurant. We had dined in prevost on previous occasions but the standard of dishes in the other restaurant was great. Friendly reception when we arrived. Breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a night or two to relax in a pretty and period setting then this hotel is recommended."
