"I like the vibe huttopia is going for and it’s an absolute family friendly gem, however our hit carpet was extremely dirty, the door didn’t close off completely which let inall the bugs overnight , our tent also had an area the zipper was completely broken which gave more room for allCreatures to comeIn. "The house was immaculate but lacked common essentials like trash bags and salt and pepper. If we had gone for an entire week I probably would bring my whole kitchen. House had tons of sleeping space and was so quiet and peaceful."

You can either carry out your vacation on site or travel 30 minutes to Portland or just a little bit more to all of Maine's great beaches. "Nice spot on the lake, close to the shore as well. Camp is located well in from the roads so no concerns with traffic while staying there with our dog. Great screened porch. Although we didn’t get an opportunity to use them as the weather was cool it was nice to have kayaks and PFDs available if you were so inclined. Easy drive to explore the coast from the cabin. Lovely walks/small hikes nearby. Also close to shopping and Shain’s which was great!"

"The Outside areas had an "end of the summer" unkempt feeling. It wasn't used by us. The house interior had a nice neat cabin appeal with complete kitchen/dining area and a large sofa fronting a wood burning stove for cooler weather. We did make good use of the screened front porch and sitting area with TV. The individual 3 bedrooms were roomy with comfortable beds. "We were able to house, feed and entertain 11 family members. There is excellent internet service. There are a collection of games and puzzles for indoor activities for young and old. There are outdoor yard games and then the waterfront on Great East lake: Swim, canoe, row boat, sail boat and float tubes. Rope swing near bye.
