"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Ausblick. The house was spotless, well stocked and comfortable. The yard and the view of the mountains were spectacular. Our four grandchildren, ages 4 through 10, spent hours and hours at the little pond on the property, catching and releasing little frogs and fish, and they enjoyed clambering up the rock formation in the yard. The swimming pool was great. There was lots to do nearby - we swam and rented kayaks at the Waterbury Center State Park, did hikes at Moss Glen Falls and Sterling Falls Gorge, took the kids to the ECHO science museum in Burlington, rode a gondola up to the Cliff House Restaurant, and, of course, visited Ben and Jerry’s. Highly recommend!"

"Everything was amazing! The home and property were perfect for our Vermont getaway. There was lots do on the property with the trails and lake access. When we wanted to go explore the areas, everything was only a short drive away. This will definitely be on the top of my list next time I plan on visiting."

"This was our second stay. This property really is one of a kind. We found ourselves looking forward to our visit for months. The Waterbury reservoir is just about the perfect recreation lake, and forest around the property is just about the perfect forest.Every amenity, utensil, and kitchen gadget you could possibly want has been provided. Extensive documentation is provided.The rental is managed by Barbara, who is very friendly and helpful. She and her family are often around, but they stay out of the way and we never saw them.I really can't say enough about this. It's the sort of thing that really makes you want to buy a lake house. But there's only one like this, and it's taken. So if you want a luxurious, quiet stay by an active recreational lake, book it. You're not going to do better.One of my pictures shows the property at the center, taken from about a mile out on the water. Take a really close look at all zero of the other similar properties anywhere to be found."

"The AC was awesome. The beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient to the highway. The bathroom was very small. Had to sit on the toilet sideways and have never seen a smaller sink. All in all, it was okay."
Luxury Vermont Escape Minutes to Stowe

"A perfect base for a family holiday in summer in northern Vermont and everything you could want in a holiday rental home: comfortable beds in air-conditioned rooms with blinds to make it dark at night and the silence of a completely peaceful setting meant a good night's sleep for all; the wi-fi is great, the furnishing smart, the kitchen well equipped, the showers warm and powerful. Communication with the host and accessing the property were very easy. The views over the surrounding hills are lovely. It is a 15-minute drive or so to the nearest town (Waterbury) which has good restaurants and a big supermarket (and the Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory - the tour was short but well worth doing if you like ice cream). I'd also recommend visiting Waterbury Center State Park for a swim in the lake and a walk on the trail."

"My siblings and I have rented a cabin here for about a week every year since covid forced us to leave the motel we had been using. This year there were two improvements: 1) the check-in was all electronic with text and email, 2) there was no longer a physical key, door had a number pad. The two small negatives are I missed the big soft chair that was there last year, and some of the steak knives should be retired and replaced."
