"The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! "

"The house does not disappoint!! It is spectacular as was the responsiveness of the owner. We were having trouble with starting the gas fire pit and Tony (the owner) drove to the house and changed out the gas tank. Each communication on our end was met with an immediate response. "

"We had a great stay! The home was spacious and full of light.. the location was so close to two beaches that we visited during our stay. The beaches are absolutely wonderful. We brought our inflatable kayaks and took a quick walk around the corner to kayak right on the water outside of the home. There were lots of extra linens which came in handy for my large family. The large shower was GREAT to have all 4 of my little ones take quick after beach showers in. We were also surprised to see there were beach umbrellas and a wagon (though we didn't need them since we brought our own wagon) they are a great detail for families with children who may need them. Kitchen was fully stocked with items that we needed, but I will mention maybe adding an exhaust fan above the stove for cooking purposes. We had no issues keeping the place cooled down with the thermostat at 70 and keeping the curtains closed when it was super sunny. The area was quiet and peaceful, if you have small children who wake to morning light there are no curtains, just blinds in the bedrooms. We hung a blanket over the windows of the room ours slept in. Overall I would definitely book again!! We loved our stay and the only big downfall was having to leave ! "

"Perfect Summer Beach Getaway!We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach house! The location is unbeatable—just a few minutes’ walk to the white sand at Ocean Beach Park. The house itself is spacious, clean, and cozy, with plenty of room for our group of 7. We especially loved the large wrap-around porch for relaxing after a day at the beach.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from a gas stove and lobster pot to a wine and coffee station—truly perfect for cooking and entertaining. The outdoor shower was a great touch after the beach, and the gas fireplace made the evenings cozy.Everything about this house made our trip so easy and enjoyable. It’s clear the hosts thought of everything to make it convenient and welcoming.Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient beach escape. We’ll definitely be coming back!"
"Everything was perfect for our family of three. The location is wonderful, with a shared private beach across the street, and a larger beach and boardwalk an easy half-mile walk away. The apartment was very clean and well appointed, with everything we needed to cook and relax on the beach. Since we flew in, we really appreciated the use of their beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and beach toys. Dawn was thoughtful, kind, and communicative. We hope to return in the future!"

"House was lovely after a renovation.Beach access is nice as just have to walk across street.Dishwasher broke but Alex came to replace. Process took longer than expected.Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans.Fridge/freezer is counter depth so enough space if not cooking for the week."
