A very warm, accommodating welcome, staff were delightful. Rooms were so comfy and well equipped, provisions for our four legged friends were also provided. Food was slightly on the slow side but delicious when it came. Breakfast was included in our stay. Free parking. Free wifi. Totally recommend.

Super gastropub

Clean room, very comfortable beds, quiet surroundings (a part from a nightingale singing outside the room at night). Excellent food. A place to back to.

Great stay with lovely food and service. However walls are paper thin and we had a large party of revellers screaming all night so we didn’t get any sleep. Single beds and pillows were uncomfortable and also the beds rolled around on their castors so every time you sat on one or moved it slid across the room. So overall the rooms need more thought as the price charged was high. The food at the pub and the service was excellent as was the breakfast. So if you could sort the rooms out better and ask guests to keep the noise down and be radial to other guests I would come again.

Excellent place to stay, usually stay in Portsmouth for the uni but chose this as its 10 minutes away, Excellent place, friendly helpful staff,,really nice food excellent price. Will be staying there again😀👍

What a lovely place to stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel itself is a little tired but pleasant enough - the staff friendliness outweighed this! Would recommend and would love to stay again if I am in the area.

Tatty and not super clean

Overall, a nice place but in serious need of refurbishment. The hotel room was tatty, there was mould in the bathroom and it wasn't very clean in places. Breakfast was good with vegetarian and vegan options. Staff friendly. However we won't stay again unless it's been refurbished.

Perfect stay in beautiful Hampshire countryside.

Had a lovely one night stay, really comfy room with a nice tray of complimentary snacks and bottled pear cider. Two bottles of water and milk for tea/coffee also complimentary which were in the fridge was a lovely surprise find. Staff all really friendly and attentive. Had evening meal which was delicious and the scrambled eggs I had for breakfast were perfect, buffet breakfast and full English also available.Lovely location in the beautiful Hampshire countyryside.
