Northwoods peace

A beautiful property and amazing hosts. The breakfasts are photo worthy and always tasty and carefully prepared. We loved every minute of our stay. It was hard to pack up and drive away. A truly soul healing experience.

If you are looking to relax or get out and do things this is your place.Our stay could not have been any better. Debbie and Al are so friendly and want to make your stay the best they can that they go way above any expectations.I cannot say enough about our stay. Amazing home and amazing stay

Debbie and Alan are the best hosts we’ve ever had. We only stayed the night but that evening was so relaxing, the bedroom was perfect and the breakfast was fantastic. We recommend anybody stay here if you’re looking for a nice quiet retreat.

Spectacular!

My husband and I have been coming up north to the Eagle River area for many years and typically stay in a cottage on a lake. We decided to try something new this year and stayed at Debbie and Alan’s bed and breakfast. The property was absolutely stunning and the location was great. Debbie and Alan were wonderful hosts providing great conversation, tips about local spots to visit and absolutely incredible breakfasts. We really loved our stay and hope to visit again!

Peaceful Beauty

Lovely craftsman built home. Gardens landscaping spectacular. Accommodations beautifully appointed. So comfortable. Large delicious breakfast. Lake views complete with Whistling Swans. Hosts Deb and Alan were so warm and welcoming. It was a much needed peaceful retreat for us from a sad day filled with sad news that we received as we were traveling to the North.

Best place we ever stayed at!

Debbie and Alan were master hosts in every way. Everything was perfect. Conversations much enjoyed. The property was divine. A 10-star breakfast was served on a super-sized gazebo with 360 degree views of the property and lake with white swans swimming around. Gardens and paths colored the way with blooming flowers and frogs sunning themselves on lily pads. Babbling sounds from a waterfall and pond outside our bedroom window lulled us to sleep. It was magical. We didn’t want to leave.

Our Favorite Northwoods Gem

Forest Gardens Getaway is our favorite stay ever in the northwoods of Wisconsin. If you are searching for a quiet, beautiful asylum to destress and chart adventures in the Cisco Chain, Sylvania Wilderness or Porcupine Mountains; it is unequalled. This pristine, architecturally unique home is situated on a private lake with gardens and walking trails. The home itself is designed with contemplation and privacy as its focus; as the four bedrooms are located at the opposing sides of the home on two levels. We found the bed to be very comfortable with top quality sheets. There was even a little waterfall outside of our bedroom window to lull us to sleep. There is a screened gazebo with comfortable furniture, which overlooks the lake to share with other visitors. The owners, who designed and built this custom pine and river rock gem from the floors up, could not be kinder. The breakfast was superbly prepared from the finest ingredients. We could not recommend this humble abode, with its wonderful creators, more. A visit to be cherished.

This home is beautiful and spacious! Designed by Allen 20 years ago and built with attention to every detail. The property is peaceful and secluded. A wonderful escape! And the food!!!
