Moody deep blue sky’s over Manvers Lake, 1st time I’ve visited and will definitely be going back when we have a epic sunset as the sun sets just off to the right of the frame.

" Country road unamed , Speeders 50 / 60 mph plus used as a rat run . Not safe for walking out with dog or young child . Property nice but dog has to go too up side of road as no garden . Too fast traffic passing , Settees 2 seaters too small not comfortable and I’m a size 14 , this has been mentioned in comments book a few years ago . Info leaflets over 2/3 yrs old so prices out of date . For pub menus need binned despite Everyone does not go on the internet looking for everything on it your...

Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. "Nice stay. Lovely and Clean. Beautiful surroundings. Driveway is very steep and the underfloor heating downstairs would never turn off leaving it very warm. Great stay though and would happily return."

"Hotel is about a change to Sandman. It is just about finished with the refurb and is excellent. Gym is huge and well equipped. Pool and sauna are great too. "
