"It was clean, loved the full length window. I have 4 stars because instead of the TV being directly in front of me while lying on the bed, it was instead positioned on the side wall - so I had to sit on the edge of the bed to watch TV. I would have preferred to have the TV directly ahead of me while lying down. However, I would stay here again as it is so reasonably priced and clean."

"The staff were very good. The property was good though the layout of our room was odd and the mirror screwed to the wall was on the tilt. The tv had a little quirk - it switched itself on in the night! The location couldn’t have been better. Thank you."

"Good budget hotel with good size rooms. The bathroom is also roomy with a large shower . This is essentially a business hotel but contains a sofa bed as well as the double , it has a desk and a comfortable office chair the room had easy access tp two lifts . The staff are helpful and friendly the dining and seating areas are near reception which is clean and has plenty of light . The breakfast was buffet and very good ,they also have a dining menu which we did not use . The hotel has good WiFi and free parking . The location was also good 5-6 miles from Barnsley ,with a supermarket opposite and easy access to low cost restaurants and fast food outlets . The hotel is also very close to a country park . A few niggly problems ,our last stay at a different Holiday Inn the sink had no plug ,this one had one but it was broken . There was a problem with the electrical socket but we were moved to a different room . Also found the air condition a little noisy at night . Yes we liked this hotel"
