Watermen’s Cabana 2B is a comfortable, convenient two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment designed for easy access to all of the things the Outer Banks has to offer. Located on a quiet street just a short walk from REAL Watersports, Watermen’s Bar & Grill, and over 40+ miles of wide-open Outer Banks beaches, this cabana is an ideal base for families, couples, and watersports travelers looking to experience the best of Hatteras Island.

Inside, Cabana 2B features a thoughtful layout with one king bed and two twin beds, making it well suited for families, couples or small groups. The living area includes leather furnishings, a smart TV with cable/streaming services, and a relaxed setting for movie nights or unwinding after a day at the beach. The full kitchen provides everything needed for meals at home, while the dining table offers seating for four.

The full bathroom includes a bathtub and shower combination, and the living space opens to a private deck with seating for two, along with access to a shared charcoal grill, perfect for casual outdoor meals after a day in the sun.

Watermen’s Cabanas are located within walking distance of the sound and ocean, giving guests easy access to both calm waters for watersports and expansive beaches for family time, shell hunting, and sunset walks.

Cabana 2B is dog friendly (2 max) with a signed pet waiver and $175 pet fee, making it a great option for guests traveling with their four-legged companions.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Waterman's retreat cabanas. The unit was very clean and spacious. We had an issue with the HVAC in our unit during our stay, and management addressed the issue immediately. Overall very happy with our stay.

Christmas on Hatteras Island

My Husband and I stayed at Waterman's Retreat over Christmas and had a lovely time. The apartment was spacious, stylish, and clean and centrally located in the villages. Management was responsive and easily accessible, and having REAL Watersports just across the street was super convenient with a beautiful view. Would definitely recommend staying with Waterman's

The place was so cozy and comfortable. The location was excellent . I recommend the restaurant, Waterman’s grill. The staff is excellent and helpful. We are going to try the kite boarding next year. It was beautiful!

Awesome place!

We stayed at one of the Watermen's Cabanas and it was perfect! Such a great location and a great little cabana that is perfect for 3-4 people. The Watermen's Bar & Grill was absolutely amazing and additionally, the REAL Watersports store and rental shop was super ideal. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you are a surfer! We were able to head to the beach and catch some waves in the midst of our remote work days throughout the week and it was exactly what we were looking for. The only thing we recommend is to bring some of your own cooking ware as there are not many pots/pans for cooking in the cabana!

Superb Family Getaway

The Waterman's cabanas were simply a terrific and affordable way for our family to get away from DC, practice social distancing, and have a great time in a charming NC beach town. The living spaces and amenities were as advertised and pet friendly. The outdoor shower was private and clean, and the deck was a nice place to chill after a beach-day. Lots to do and great places to eat nearby. We'll be back again.
