  • This home will welcome you in with cozy comfort and will lull you to relaxation as you listen to the enchanting creek that runs the property beside the house. An added bonus is that this home offers easy access; you can drive around to the back and utilize the ramp or just two steps to the kitchen door. On a cool summer night the screened in porch will invite you to take in the distant mountain views and natural sounds or in the morning enjoy with a cup of coffee. WiFi access throughout the house! Bring the kids, there is a spare TV in the 3rd bedroom! Aunt’s House is also pet friendly. The location will make you feel like you have gotten away from it all but when your ready to go to town it is just minutes away. Any direction you want to go you’ll find your just a short drive to beautiful Maggie Valley, Lake Junaluska, Waynesville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Cherokee Indian Reservation. You’ll find golfing, fine dinning, shopping, shows, country hoedowns, festivals, bike rallies, river rafting and more in Haywood County and when your finished exploring Aunt’s House will welcome you home.

Cozy and Quiet

My family loved staying here! It was very nice and we loved the location. My kids enjoyed playing in the little stream. We will definitely be back!

Home away from home

Very comfortable, clean, organized and met all or family needs, great location,beautiful view of mountains. I would highly recommend for a family getaway, has all kitchen supplies needed, including two coffee options either a Keruig and a instant coffee pot. Rental agency is very responsive, kind , and very professional.

Quiet area, comfy house like a grandma’s place! Having a washer and dry was great for our 7night stay. It was a hop away from golfing at the Maggie Valley Country Club! 😊Martha Chas. SC

I rented pet friendly but didn't expect dog hair on comforter and all over sheets. Theres no maid service for this home. Says clean and inspected...NOThere was spider webbs all over rockers and tables on porch. Also asked about truck and trailer, yes it fit as for how to get it in there was a whole another story. I shouldn't be charged for cleaning when i had to clean just to sleep..Carolina properties should not give out packets if they cant help you.

Disappointed

Overwhelming pet odor. Outside handrail was not stable. Outside step is short, both of us stumbled. Many, many steps. Should have been mentioned in description of this rental. We had to purchase toilet paper. Only had a partial roll in rental. No central AC. Window unit does not cool bedrooms.

Ten hour drive to Maggie Valley to attend our daughter’s wedding. Staying at “Aunt’s House “ made it very comfortable.

Great find!!

I love the location and the sound of water running through the property is quite nice. It would have been noce to have a cookie sheet and a meat thermometer but nothing a trip to ingles couldnt fix. Home is furnished with everything else though. Lovley home for spending a few days skiing.

Ceiling fans, window sills and blinds covered in dust and cobwebs; carpet soiled and smelled musty and old. Needs serious updates and thorough deep cleaning. Second bathroom was on lower level 15 stair steps down and 15 back up, no master bedroom with private bath.

Great location

The screened porch is a great place to unwind. Any issues we had are being resolved by the property manager. He was very responsive. Again this is a great location. Good places to eat are close by to the property.

Cozy Home in the Foothills of NC

Beautiful

The place is cozy as a button. I enjoyed spending most days on the screened in porch listening to the birds and critters and just relaxing. The view was amazing!

Cozy & Comfortable

Loved the creek running next to the property. You can open the bedroom windows and hear the rushing water sing you to sleep. Kitchen well equipped, large dining table for games, big screened in porch for dining/relaxing. Location great-near Asheville, Lake Junaluska. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect honeymoon on vacations
