There was another room though, less big, less comfy, incorporated into the owners' house that could be occupied. My first intention was to cancel the booking, but then I gave another thought to the situation, kept it as it was, accepted the small room for one night in order to spare all the hassle of finding yet another guesthouse. Kanthi and Kantha are very warm and welcoming and want to make their guests comfortable , happy snd well fed..Kanthi is a great cook and her dahl is the best. Rooms are well maintained and very clean. The location is walking distance from a beautiful beach and a short tuk tuk ride to restaurants and other beaches where you can surf or snorkel. "Other than the fact that there was no wi-fi and we had to leave after 2 days when it was not repaired, this hotel was satisfactory. The management was notified when we arrived that wi-fi was essential to our stay and we were asked to give them time to get it working, which we did for two days. When it was still not repaired and work was no longer being done to repair it, we left the hotel. "
