"The room was neat and tidy but we only had enough coffee for one day and we stayed two. It was not topped up at all. We had parking which was a very tight fit."

"This property is the neglected cousin of the millennium hotel next door. The rooms are old and cramped, the walls are thin, access to the rooms from the beach was often locked. We hated cooking in the kitchenette area. Going next door to Millennium was a nice perk but given how many options there were in Taupo, I would skip this one. "

"In town for a festival, this was a great central location to base ourselves. We were upgraded to a larger apartment which was huge! Shops, supermarket and food outlets right outside. Walking distance to the waterfront. Exceptional value for money. "
