"This motel is primarily a long-term stay option for locals who are down on their luck and need a safe place to stay. I am so glad the Marifah offers this, but it is not what most weary travelers pulling off of I-70 expect. The floor and counters were sticky, there was dirt in the crevices, and inexpert repairs on a door that had been bashed in, among other notables."

"Mark did a fabulous job in communication. Our entire family loved this place. I've rented many VRBOs and this house was one of our favorites. Welcoming, farm-like house with 5 full bedrooms to accommodate all 9 of us. Hope to rent it again next time we are all out that way. "

"We try to frequent small businesses during our travels. I do not recommend the Rock City Motel. The person who checked us in was rude There was an issue with with Expedia and she did not handle it professionally The room was clean but the mattress was worn out years ago. "
