Rennovated 2 bed dog friendly cosy cottage in central Wells
Churchside cottage is a beautiful 15th centuary cottage in the centre of Wells. This house has been newly renovated for hosting, comprising of 2 bedrooms suited to a family. Wells is the smallest city in England, and this characterful cottage is right in the centre of it. Located at the bottom of the high street this central location offers pubs and restaurants, rural walks (perfect for our 4 legged friends!) and shops all within a couple of minutes walk. While staying at Churchside Cottage you will have the whole house to yourself, and a small patio area overlooking a small shared garden in the courtyard. There are two bedrooms; (1) Double bed, 2 bedside cabinets, wardrobe cupboard unit and mirror, (2) Single bunk beds with underbed storage, wardrobe and shelving unit. Bathroom with sink, toilet, towel rail and shower. Kitchen has fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, sink, cutlery and crockery, oven and grill with gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster, breakfast bar with seating for 2. The lounge/ dining area comprises of a 3 seater sofa and armchair, coffee table, board games and books, smart TV, electric fire, dining table with a bench and 2 chairs. I am new to hosting, however I have years experience managing a boutique hotel, so rest assured you're in safe hands. If there is anything I can do to make your visit more comfortable then please don't hesitate to ask! Unfortunately there is no parking directly outside the property in the daytime, as there is a single yellow line. Restrictions apply between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday. There are places you can park your car nearby residentially. Or you can pay to park nearby too. There is no smoking in this property, free WiFi is avaliable although due to the nature of the house (sadly builders in the 1600s had no consideration for our surfing needs!) the speed can be a tad slow during peak times, but still perfectly useable. All bedding and towels are provided as well as a welcome pack and folder detailing the house contents and instruction manuals for everything, just in case! Churchside cottage will comfortably accomodate 4 people.

Lovely town cottage less than 5 mins from high street and dog friendly for those staying with dogs!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage in Wells. It was spotlessly clean, full of character and thoughtfully decorated so that everything we needed was right there. The location was perfect for walking all over Wells, and driving to many local attractions. We didn’t want to leave, and hope to be back again soon. Highly recommend.
We spent 2 nights in Wells in Emily’s place. It was a perfect spot from which to enjoy all the things Wells had to offer. Emily was communicative, went out of her way to make us comfortable my allowing us to check in early and out late, left some nice snacks and everything we needed for our time there. The cottage was nicely furnished and decorated, clean and modern.
Central location in Wells and Southwestern UK location
Beautifully renovated cottage that offered easy access to fulfill needs of our visit without having to rent a car with its attendant frightening UK driving. We loved the hand hewn exposed wooden beams. The only downside for us was street side loud vocalizations by apparently drunken pedestrians that occasionally kept us awake at night.
