The room was spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is conveniently located in Wellsboro, which is a nice town that is easy to walk in. There was a CVS across the street if you forgot any necessities like we did and a supermarket if you want to put together a picnic lunch when you go out to hiking trails around the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. It was easy to get to both sides of the canyon from the lodge. Their sister hotel has a nice bar and serves dinner with friendly service.

Staff were excellent. We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Highlights were the pool, hot tub, breakfast, walking to restaurants and shops. Room could use a little updating, but would stay again.

Check in was a breeze. Nice surprise was the outside deck seating area and the ability to enter and exit through that door vs. the main entrance. Breakfast was included as part of the room cost and was nice. Eggs cooked, sausage,milk, coffee, juice, water, bagels, cold cereal. Yum! Check out was just as easy. Only downside, pay attention when booking if you are in the Lodge or Hotel. They are separate buildings near each other. Lots of dining choices on main street. Both fast food and restaurants. Example: Dunkin donuts, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Timeless Destination, The Steakhouse...etc. Gas station off Main Street before you continue your adventures.

The staff, every one who I spoke with, were professional, helpful, proactive if I had a complaint (the balcony door needs a repair), and kind. The only complaint I had was, the balcony door needs to be repaired. I couldn't open or close it. I needed my sons to do it as it was stuck. I notified the front and asked that they wait until I left to fix it, but they immediately let maintenance know for a repair.

Breakfast was delicious! The food choices were fresh, presented in a pleasing fashion and real dishes to eat from!!! We were thrilled not to eat cold, processed food served on styrofoam!!! Staff was very friendly giving direction to an excellent family owned restaurant. Parking was on site and safe. Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. I would highly recommend this facility.

The morning breakfast buffet with eggs and sausage and all the continental breakfast items such as juice, water, coffee, bagels etc. Was excellent start to the day. The room was very nice, did not have a small refrigerator in our room. Double bed was comfortable with nice light with two electric plug outlets right on top of night stand. Parking was right there. Staff was nice and informative.
