"Immaculately kept cabin home with everything needed for a restful stay. The back porch and area out back include beautiful spots to enjoy a meal or the firepit. Nicely located about 10 miles from the lovely town of Wellsboro. The Log Cabin Restaurant is only 2 miles away and has delicious food. There are many state parks nearby, including the Little Grand Canyon. We would love to return in the fall."

"Had a wonderful trip here! The location of the cabin is great, the property is great. We saw beaver, deer, rabbits, bald eagles, red and gray squirrels and on a scenic ride we took nearby we saw a black bear. It rained a few days of our stay so we were able to enjoy games inside. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom is nicely stocked and for a longer stay there is a in unit washer and dryer available. It was our 4th time staying in this cabin and definitely will not be our last. Thank you so much for another amazing stay! "

"We were very satisfied with this cottage. It does have the quirks of an old house, as mentioned in the listing/reviews, the floors are a bit slanted and some of the ceilings a bit low, but neither of those things detracted from our enjoyment of the house. The kitchen, living room and bathroom are spacious and open. Kitchen windows offered a nice view, and the couch was super comfortable. If you’ve stayed at a house with a bad couch you’ll know it matters! Host provided basic necessities as specified, and we had no issues. Enjoyed the proximity to Wellsboro while having a private place. "

"Shabby - shabby - chic Historic Pennwells. Pros: Lots of character. Very friendly staff - but everyone is friendly in Wellsboro. Good restaurant and tavern on site. They share the same menus. The interiors of each are unique and terrific. The hotel is in the center of town and walkable to everything. Cons: old and shabby - but it's a bit cool at the same time."
