The room was clean and there was adequate space for our family of 4. The breakfast was good and we dined twice at the restaurant. The food was delicious and prices reasonable. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Everything was stellar! Thank you Hotel Edelweiss for providing a memorable stay for our family. We will definitely stay again if we come back to Wengen. "

"Beautiful classic old hotel in Wengen. Close to the railway station. Good buffet breakfast. We got an upgrade to a corner room with spectacular views of the mountains. Electrical could do with upgrading although everything worked. Staff were very pleasant"

"Beautiful location. Make sure you arrive before the last train from Lauterbrunnen leaves before midnight to go up to Wengen. Love the car free town. The view from our hotel was amazing."

Although the rooms are not air-conditioned we appreciated the provision of a fan in the room. We're happy to recommend based on our experience. "

"Very nice quiet location it at the same time close to everything. The river view room was much smaller than we expected but excellent view. We even watched people jumping off the bridge. The self laundry facility was an added bonus. But the staff are not quite familiar with buses allowed on the guest card. We were kicked off 106 and told 102-104 are the only valid buses. Something to be verified before j make plans."
