"This hotel needs updating. There was a weird odor in the rooms like chemicals or plastic. I believe it was from their cleaning material. I've stayed here before but it seems things are different. The wallpaper was peeling in the room. But the room and linens were clean. Check in was a nightmare! There was only one person working. And this was my 3rd stay at this hotel and it's always the same. Very crowded, small lobby with a long wait for check in. If there's an issue with someone's check in, there's no manager to deal with it. So just that one staff is there and the rest of us are left waiting. But after the long wait, the staff was quick and efficient. There was also confusion about parking, whether it was paid or free. We got stuck at the parking gate on the way out. I had to go back inside after we checked out to get them to raise the gate. They could have told me that when I checked out. Clearly, they are short staffed and there's not enough work done on customer service. I'm not sure I will stay there again. "

"Hotel overbooked. Got an "upgrade" to a suite which resulted in going from two double beds to a king and a pullout; not informed of this until we walked into the room. Not what we reserved and expected for three people and the pullout was not comfortable. Staff response was lacking, basically "tough ****". Only reason we didn't leave was my teenage daughter's decision to stay since the volleyball tournament was close by."

"Cute boutique hotel but the rooms face the inside so no real daylight. towels are thick but super hard and rough. My biggest issue was no coffee anywhere in the hotel except a restaurant next store which didn’t open til 7am. And they gave me keys to a room someone was already in. But bed comfy an super quiet for sleeping. "

"Very nice hotel. They did a very nice job renovating such an old building and transforming it into a very cool hotel. Snacks and water await you in your room. Hotel bar is nice. Connected to a swanky coffee shop too. Walking distance to most places in the Downtown Crossing area. Definitely recommend. "
