"My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harbor Light Inn and would happily return. From check-in to check-out, the staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The inn was spotless, fresh-smelling, and inviting throughout our visit. Our room on the top floor was bright, airy, and comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the daily-refilled water container, suitcase benches, and quality bathroom amenities. The continental breakfast was delicious and offered a nice variety of options, including eggs, yogurt, granola, cereal, bagels, and fresh coffee. The dining area was charming, and the beautifully landscaped patio and pool area provided a peaceful place to relax. One evening, we enjoyed spending time in the cozy living room, complete with a chess set, piano, and wine service. It was a wonderful way to unwind. We also loved exploring the nearby shops and restaurants. Marblehead is a charming and peaceful town, and Harbor Light Inn was the perfect place to stay. We look forward to visiting again."

"The hotel was beautiful! We loved how spacious the room was and very clean. The staff was very friendly at check in as well as the restaurant! Loved how close it was to everything being walking distance. The only thing we wished was that there was a mini fridge to keep items in but definitely not a deal breaker by any means. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We had such a charming stay at this hotel in Salem! The property has a wonderful historical feel, complete with a beautiful antique bed and canopy that really added to the historic character of the space. At the same time, the bathroom was fully modern and nicely updated, giving us the perfect blend of old-world charm and contemporary comfort. The location couldn’t have been better. Everything we wanted to explore in downtown Salem was within easy walking distance, which made our trip so convenient and enjoyable. The hotel also offered free parking, which was a huge bonus and allowed us to fully enjoy the area without worrying about our car. One of the highlights of our stay was the private breakfast, which felt thoughtful and relaxing. We also loved spending time in the cozy living room, where we played card games and learned more about the history of the building. It really made the experience feel personal and memorable. Overall, this hotel offers a unique and comfortable stay with plenty of character. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Salem!"

"The hotel was clearly very beautiful and held a lot of history. The room was a bit tight for our family of 5 - especially the tiny bathrooms, but the beds were incredible. I liked that parking was included and the hotel was in walking distance of a lot of things in Salem. We ate at one restaurant in the hotel for dinner and the other restaurant for breakfast. Both were fine but not great. The wait staff at breakfast accidentally spilled maple syrup on my son, the table, and the floor. They apologized, but they didn’t clean it up. We had to ask for a wet cloth so we could clean it up ourselves, which I thought was so odd they wouldn’t have jumped in to remedy the mistake. We also made use of the free guest pass to the local YMCA. We loved having access to that! Unfortunately, a water main break at the hotel caused a massive leak in the first and second floors so there were dehumidifiers and industrial-sized fans everywhere in the lobby. The front desk were clearly strained from the intensity of the situation, but they were helpful anytime we had a question."
