Welcome to Glen Isla, a beautifully restored 1885 weatherboard home in Wentworth Falls, sleeping up to 12 guests across six bedrooms.

Originally built as a letting house for Sydney families escaping to the fresh mountain air, Glen Isla is still welcoming guests more than 140 years later. We’ve been hosting here since 2013 and love sharing this special part of the Blue Mountains with families and groups of friends.

Five bedrooms have queen beds, while the sixth is a spacious loft with four single beds, ideal for older children, teenagers or adults. Please note - The loft is not recommended for children under 10 unless accompanied by an adult. Three bedrooms open through French doors onto the wraparound verandah.

Outside, half an acre of established gardens and lawns gives everyone room to relax, play and enjoy the fresh Mountain air. Have coffee on the verandah, enjoy a long lunch or BBQ outside, or let younger guests explore the cubby house and slide.

And when you’re ready to explore, you can leave the car behind. It’s just a short, flat five-minute walk to the start of spectacular Blue Mountains National Park walks, while Wentworth Falls, Leura, Katoomba, the Three Sisters and Scenic World are all within 10 minutes easy drive.

After a day in the Mountains, come home to a game of pool, dinner in the garden or a cosy evening beside the fire.
