Hotel is good, clean and comfortable. We arrived early- about noon and rooms weren't ready. Completely understandable- my only issue was the person at the counter didn't seem to be trying to help the situation or at least make me feel that it was ok for me to be there. Perhaps they are understaffed as everyone is now- and we were way early. but even at 4pm which is when we got our rooms, (and their check in time), the staff were struggling to finish rooms. I feel bad for them. But I also...

Very clean, updated rooms and pleasant staff. Definitely a hidden gem. Central of a Walmart and many other restaurants and shopping.

We stayed at the "sister property" (the O'Henry) several times but had not stayed at the Proximity. We tried but COVID or one thing or another led to not making our trip.
We had met the original owners and then knew about their transfer to the employees. What a terrific thing for an employer to do and what a great deal for the employees. It appears that they are doing a good job and keeping the quality up to former standards. The decor and amenities are outstanding, the Bistro not only has...

Came in late and got up early, but the staff was very nice, the rooms were clean and the beds were good, so it was good for the night. The tv was a little better than most hotels in this range. I would stay here again if in the area.
