"I absolutely adored my stay here. The house is beautifully nestled at the top.of the Waitakeres, with a magnificent view of Auckland city. The house itself had a lovely welcoming feel. The owners have taken the time to style the property with a gorgeous collection of antique furniture. I must admit, i was deeply envious of the curtains. The spa was perfect for soaking and napping. The property was very clwan and the owner was an excellent and prompt communicator. I hope to stay again."

"The property was good with a lot of space. A few detractors that we experience are as follows. 1. They have listed as this place has a pool. It is only a small paddling pool and this was not put up during our stay. The owner did say they had to take it down due to bad weather. A paddling pool should be listed as that. And the picture doesnt quiet reflect the actual situation. 2. Spa was not very good. Was quite dirty. 3. The kitchen faucet was leaking. It was covered with a foil paper to prevent...

"Our group of adults and teenagers attending a school competition in Takapuna thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is designed to accommodate and entertain a large group staying together. Beautiful lighting and comfortable throughout. The teenagers loved the pool table and hot tub (too cold for the pool, this time). Loray is very friendly, easy to communicate with, and helpful."

"Property is what we needed during our 2 night stay in Auckland, it was tidy and clean. The pictures made it look like it was its own house, but it is situated on the bottom floor of the main house towards the back. Good communication with the property manager. Would recommend"

We were not disturbed by noise from the surrounding bars etc. As my group consisted of 3 children age 5 and under we did find fact they could escape from garden around the side to front of property a concern but the information provided did make this known so cannot complain. We did use a piece of timber found to block their escape so might be worth owners considering something more permanent? Only other comment would...

While the listing accurately reflects that the beach is only minutes away, it does not reflect that getting there and back on foot involves descending and ascending a very steep incline and several flights of steps. "A very cute little place to stay while attending spark arena, jumped on a scooter, which were always nearby, for easy travel. A car park is available under the building, which made things easier. Check out got a little muddled, needing key to get into the garage, but needing to leave it in the room, but all was sorted."
