"Everything and everyone was great! Only two negative comments. One, we had great difficulties with the entry system and had to call for help on check in day and the following day. Two, the beds are not very comfortable. . . by the 3rd night. . . not at all. Everything in the area of Tockwood was amazing. . . Beautiful!"

The entrance to the building is confusing - honestly, it looks more like a large garage than a barn, but the inside was beautiful! Make sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; I always use the toiletries provided by hotels I stay in, so I didn't have these on hand. I highly recommend the property. "This Caribou Island cabin was perfect for an end of summer getaway for my kids (13 and 11) and me. The highlight for us was the location--nestled in the trees right on the lake, but completely private. I can't say enough about how beautiful the property is. The bedrock protrudes through a thin cover of soil and is covered with a variety of lichen and moss that is absolutely gorgeous. "Beautiful little cabin in a lovely secluded location. Clean, comfortable, extremely quiet. The only issue we found is - the hot water heater is horribly undersized. Any more than one 10-min shower and you’ll be taking a COLD shower! Lovely retreat for a couple, but a shower together? Out of the question! My wife and I took AM/PM shifts on the 2nd day after it took my breath away on day 1."
