"We recently stayed at the Salerno Lake Cottage with our family, and it was absolutely lovely. The lake view from the dock, porch, and even inside the cottage was stunning. It was the perfect getaway for our family to relax and enjoy nature. The cottage was well-equipped with a paddle board, kayaks, and a canoe. Just a quick note: it can get a bit warm during the hot weather, so I recommend bringing some fans to stay comfortable. However, it does cool down nicely at night with the windows...

"We had a few issue with a few things we had to bring our own pots and weren’t told about it so had to go get our own. The owner had some bad previous renters so for the first few days I kept getting messages about what we were doing and where things were coming from. So he was watching us on his cameras. "This was a great place to host my 10 buddies for a get together. Everyone had a bed, meals were easy to prepare in the kitchen, hang out by the lake was great. Would be tough with my or any little kids as access to the lake was difficult as it was rocky and rooty with no stairs and no dock. "

"Heather was just wonderful. She is so welcoming and kind. She always was available through text if we had an question about the property and our stay. Her property is gated and it was so nice to bring our dog and not worry about him leaving the area. The house is clean and sweet looking, when we came she greeted us and walked us around to show us everything. Her tips on the bugs at night truly helped :) we could enjoy outdoors at night. :). "This property was very clean but dated. We had a good restful time. The old Wigemog Inn is next door. In the thirties it was going place with the likes of Jimmy Dorsey playing there. The rich would come from Toronto to stay the summer. The Inn has been left to rot by its last owner. It looks like a eyesore. As a result investment in upgrading at Haliburton Heights has been put on hold till they get the inn demolished."

"We enjoyed the cottage! Our host Sherri got in touch to ensure that we had a way to get to the cottage as it’s water access only. We arrived to a neat and tidy place. Swimming off the dock was enjoyed by our youngest who is 4 and our oldest at 17!! Fishing from the dock or picking any location on Ravens lake with either the row boat, canoe or kayak (all provided) was awesome for all of us! The lake is a good size to cruise in the boat and just explore and we also did some tubing. Very friendly...
