"My husband and myself were happy with our stay but were surprised that both bathrooms were designed for disabled guests when they were not requested. The showers, in particular, were difficult. Also, neither of us were able to have our first choice on the evening menu. However, all the staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. "

"The hotel is a little tired but it is spotlessly clean & the location & ease of walking to Cardiff Bay restaurants is great. In addition, what makes the hotel excellent is the staff. Jacques at check in was very helpful & Loretta at breakfast was fantastic but all staff we encountered were great. Fantastic early morning swim & delicious breakfast too. Great hotel - would definitely recommend! "

"Comfy stay for a good price. A few notable things were that I did find a nail clipping on the carpet when we came into the room. Also, the pillow covers are of a cheaper material which means my face and ears got way hotter through the night than I would on cotton sheets. I liked the firmness of the mattress and the bathroom was spotless, although the tap placement was really awkward as you could not turn it to cold as it clashed with the sink. Free breakfast was good, the croissants were dry but the warm breakfast elements were tasty and filling."
