"This B&B is situated in a very small town in Leenane where they have a woolen museum, a couple of pubs and and a smallgrocery. The rooms were clean, quiet and in a lovely location. There are quite a few stairs going to check in so not for the disabled. We didn't have breakfast but heard it was good. Very inexpensive if you're looking for a deal. Small room and shower but definitely enough for the twin bed accommodation. "

"Clifden is a beautiful place to stay. Lots of great walks and drives. We had the Cregg apartment and facilites were perfect for a couple. Thanks for the wobderful baked goodies we discovered on arrival."

"We booked two rooms at this property only to be told upon arrival that they had misread the booking and only were in a position to give us one room, this was due to the fact they had just sold the other room, good way of making extra money. We did ask the hotel for a return on the other rooms cost but they declined and laughed saying well at least we have one room for you. Would never use this hotel again and would advise Hotels.com to remove it from their site."

"I don’t have anything negative to say….our 3 days there were fantastic and memorable. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with living area and kitchen( all large) and price can’t be beat. My next time in Westport I’ll be staying at McCarthys!"

"Excellent and clean with minimal noise despite the construction. The tub was a little deep compared to the bathroom floor but otherwise it was all amazing. The communal areas were clean and the staff was very helpful in calling cabs and assisting the Uber eats guy with finding me lol. There is a bus stop right down the street that will take you into town. "

"Good, affordable spot not far from the main hub of action. We got a room that opened up into a kitchen and living area with an extra bed for our son. Cold breakfast was perfect for us. Tea and coffee and fruit were always available. I wish there was a spot to hang wet towels. Hooks are needed or towel racks."
