Town centre, rail & bus stations and riverfront are all within walking distance, with regular buses to the castle & cathedral up the (very steep) hill. Would definitely stay again."

"Excellent location for the racing - stayed 3 nights in total which included parking. It was a little run down but very good value for money. Had microwave, kettle and fridge in the room, with tea coffee sugar and milk. Room was clean, a little run down in places with marks on the wall etc, windows a little dirty, but nothing overly bad. "The room opens directly onto the carpark, which was great as it made it easy to unload/load the car, also we could keep the door open so cool down the room (it was hot when we stayed). The staff were friendly and helpfully. Each nigh we were asked to prebook our breakfast, stating what time we wanted it, the following morning the breakfast was waiting for us perfectly cooked."
