Located in the area of Stoupa a place of rare natural beauty with olive groves, verdant rolling hills and distant snowcapped mountains. Stoupa is a seaside village that overlooks three beaches.
On the right is the marvelous Kalogria beach where Kazantzakis lived with

In the middle is the big, sandy Stoupa beach and on the left is Halikoura beach.

Stoupa: a charming seaside village, in Mani, in the southern Peloponnese. It is the most developed of all villages in the Municipality of Lefktro.

A castle is set in the east of the village, used as a fort in ancient Greek times. According to Pausanias, there used to be the temple of the Greek goddess of Athena with its statue.
