Rustic cozy log cabin nestled on private 1 acre property overlooking the mountains. Pack your clothes, skis and snowboards or hiking, biking and fishing gear and make yourself at home! Relax by the fire while you sit with your feet up (hot cocoa in hand) and watch the snow fall or sit on the back patio and enjoy the fire pit on a beautiful summer evening. The fully equipped kitchen includes a new electric stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, pots & pans, all your basic spices and dinnerware to prepare your cozy meals of choice. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience and space to store your skis on the porch off the kitchen. This home is also dog-friendly, so the whole family can take part in the adventure!

Upon entering the home you are greeted with exposed post and beam structural supports and ample wood countertop space for preparing the best of meals. Off the kitchen you will find a 3 season porch with stunning mountain views. Full bathroom with tub/shower. Follow the hallway to a cozy living room with pull out queen sofa, fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a stocked chest of board games to keep you entertained for hours. Wall of windows that give you a great sense of the outdoors even while inside the comforts of the home. Continue to the first floor bedroom that has its own entrance/exit to a deck that's perfect for enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee or glass of wine. Upstairs you will find a loft style bedroom with views of the mountains and a workspace corner.
Outside you can watch the stars while sitting in the hot tub, or build a fire on the patio with the Solo stove. The property also has mobile / ATV trail access nearby. Bring your own toys or rent nearby.
Also, please be aware that you will be staying in a log cabin, which could mean an occasional mouse, bug or spider sighting. If that would disturb you, this house might not be the right vacation spot for you.
Things to Know:
- We are in a rural area but have neighbors on one side and across the street.
-Free satelite internet via Starlink
-Kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils, appliances and basic spices.
-Coffee (regular with filters and espresso), Tea & Kettle are provided for guests' use.
-Dogs are welcome. Please let us know ahead of time how many dogs are coming. Our sheepdog Bertie is happy to share his water and food bowls, dog cover for couch, dog bed, dog toys and rags specifically for coming in from the snow etc.
-We love children (pack and play available) and they are more than welcome, but the house is not fully "childproofed" (outlets, cabinet locks, etc).
-The upstairs bedroom is a loft that is open to the kitchen downstairs. The loft staircase is not ideal for toddlers and we do not have baby gates.
-House comes fully stocked with linens, towels, shampoo and conditioner, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
-Fireplace is environmentally friendly and burns gel canisters
-5 Person Hot Springs salt water hot tub
-Solo Stove fire pit out back
-4x4 or all-wheel drive is a recommended for access to this property during winter months.
-House is protected with ADT security
-Please note that there is an exterior surveillance camera pointed towards the driveway and yard as well as an additional security camera on the main doorbell.
-Power is provided by a local solar farm.
-There is no smoking allowed anywhere inside the property. You will be charged $500 for breaking this rule.
