Capri Laguna on the Beach

"We loved our stay at Capri Laguna, it’s right on the beach, they have beach chairs and umbrellas available when the tide is low, which makes it such a life saver than trying to haul all of your own stuff. There’s quite a few (Positano style) steep stairs to take to get down to the beach, so just being able to walk down without having to carry anything is everything. Nick the general manager and his entire team went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They made the trip, it feels like staying with family in Europe. They also have a pool (you can use for the kids) when the beach gets to be too much and it’s very helpful to have everything right there. Some rooms are better than others, we’ve stayed twice and the beach view and beach front rooms are better bang than the standard queen rooms for the money. It’s worth the splurge. Remember, it’s a beach front hotel in Laguna Beach. Walking distance to everything!!! No need to get in your hot car for any reason. We will be back, and can’t thank Nick, Bachir, Morgan & Esme for such a great stay."

"Came for a weekend getaway with my boyfriend. We were greeting by friendly valet and front desk people. They even offered welcome champagne. We got there early so we had to wait for a room, but it was worth it since we got upgraded to a different room. The views here are worth it. You have access to a pool but we went down to the beach instead. We enjoyed drinks in their lobby area that even had someone playing live music. We dined inside our room for dinner since our view was perfect. Everywhere we went the staff greeted us with smiles and were so nice. Honestly, this was the best hotel stay I've ever had. We're definitely coming back."

"I think the most important feature of any hotel review is: Would you go back? In this case, emphatically- yes. It’s a smaller place, not some grand resort on massive acreage, so if that’s what you want, this isn’t it. But, if you want quiet, comfortable, well-appointed, professionally designed rooms and grounds; this is an excellent choice. We’d never been to Laguna, so we were pleasantly surprised by LPP’s proximity to beaches and restaurants, but the mimosas+continental breakfast on the patio each morning meant we didn’t have to leave the property for great service and a quality meal to start our days. Again, we’d go back."
