"The property has a lot of history and charm. We stayed in a cottage type room with a loft. The breakfast was very good and served in a room with a viking theme. The restaurant next door was excellent too."

"Service is great, although they made a couple of errors around our booking. (Wrong beds -- twins, not queen/king -- and did not follow through with a request to clean the room one day.) But they always recognized the error and did their best to set it to rights. The Spa is wonderful: a set of really nicely designed pools and a sauna. It's a definite treat. The Hygge caffe on the ground floor is wonderful, something we'd heard about and were determined to find...and there it was in our own hotel. Watch for Mango, one of the many cats who seemingly run Reykjavik. "

"Center Hotels Plaza is conveniently located close to Restaurants, shops and some of the sightseeing locations. I enjoyed my stay, my room was comfortable although the housekeeping was a little sloppy a couple of times. The staff was very pleasant - I highly recommend the Hotel. "

"A bit of a walk from the city center but not too bad. A few good dining options within 5 min walking distance. Gym is a bit too small, there are actually quite a lot of people using it in the morning. Breakfast options vary, some days they have more options than others. "

"Nice hotel, clean, helpful & friendly staff. Located a few minutes away from downtown area/activities We arrived early to just drop off our luggage and a room was ready so we were able to check in. Nice breakfast included and free parking. Highly recommend and would stay here again"
