"The outside of the building looks terrible. Abandonbed. I thought my husband was joking when he said that was it. But the inside was completely redone and surprisingly modern and clean. Communication was terrible, but thank goodness the couple who cleans was there and they were a huge help, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get our access code. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel itself is perfectly located to be able to walk around the shopping and restaurant part of Reykjavik. The dormitories were perfectly adequate, though if you're not very limber, you might want to request a lower bunk and not an upper one. Bathrooms were very clean and lots of lovely hot water."

"We didn’t stay in the dorm, we had a private room which was very comfortable. We stayed three nights total, two at the beginning of our visit to Iceland and one night before we flew out. The desk staff was very helpful and stored our suitcases until we were able to check in so we could go and do some sightseeing.
