"Do not book this property.Right from the start, the stay was uncomfortable and unsafe. The neighbor came over with his dogs, cursed at us, and told us to get off the property even though we were paying guests. Later that night, when we tried to enjoy a campfire, he yelled at us again. We had to go inside because we honestly didn’t feel safe staying outdoors.The property itself wasn’t well kept either — the backyard was covered in dog waste, which is disgusting considering they charge a cleaning fee. For the price they charge, the place should at least be clean and safe to use.After we left, the host tried to add a bunch of extra charges for things we didn’t do. They claimed we didn’t separate the trash (we did), charged us for “putting rocks back” around the campfire, and even tried to bill us for items we never touched or broke. These fees were never mentioned up front, and it really felt like they were just trying to squeeze more money after our stay.This trip was stressful, unsafe, and followed by bogus charges. Stay away and book somewhere that actually respects their guests and their safety."

"The house is lovely, with a wonderful wall of windows on the lake, a large and clean hot tub that sees that same lake, attractive furniture and art, an enormous and well equipped kitchen, and very nice bedrooms (especially the master bedroom). Everything was very clean and welcoming. We loved it."

"We had a wonderful stay at The Clock House! The location is so serene with views looking out over the Delaware River, and the open yard was filled with beautiful wildlife. We even caught a bald eagle fishing morning! The proximity to the park and playground was also perfect with our toddler!The inside of the house is incredibly designed and detailed, and they have thought of everything for your stay. The rooms were all perfectly staged for relaxing in style. We spent a lot of time in the sun room listening to records, and relaxing in the living room in front of the fire. The beds were so comfortable it truly felt like a getaway!We also traveled with our foster dog and it was so nice to have a dog bed and extra bowls and leash. We will definitely stay here again when in Narrowsburg!"

"We rented Hilltop Farmhouse for our 50th wedding anniversary. Or family joined us and we had a great time. I’ll start with the house - very nice inside, kitchen was fully equipped, games available to play, etc. The outdoors is stunning - leaves were just starting to change colors. There is a basketball net for the kids to play, a nice large macadam driveway for the kids to ride bikes or play ball, indoor pool which was enjoyed by everyone and at the top of the hill is the Hilltop Enchanted Forest which has 2 trails you can hike. I only have good things to say about this VRBO - owners are very easy to talk to and they are very responsive. Hopefully we will be back in a couple years to visit again. Thanks. "

"Great property overall. We were looking to get away and relax and we did. It could have been cleaner--kitchen and bathrooms could use some extra attention for sure. No bathroom on the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are! Also, the pictures of the property don't show how close you are o to other houses--and dogs living on both sides barked a lot!"
