"We had an amazing time at El Encanto. Our room was comfortable and well outfitted, breakfast (and dinner) was tasty, the pools were great and the service was helpful and friendly. Our unexpected favorite part of the experience was the nature you could see from within the hotel walls - sloths (2)!, monkeys, frogs, iguanas and lots of birds. A great combo of luxury and nature. "

"The hotel is an older hotel but extremely charming. It has a great pool and is right on the beach. The staff were excellent and friendly. We ate a great meal in the restaurant. Definitely would recommend this hotel."

"Our room was charming, clean and most comfortable. Our room look out on to the ocean - we could hear the waves at night which was so nice. Staff were wonderful and a nice breakfast. The restaurant looks out on the ocean - so nice. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel."

"It was a great place to stay but we did experience problems with the hot water. They were able to fix it but it was a pain waiting for a hot shower."

"Without Google we would have had a hard time finding it! In our room there was a shrieking noise which we assume was from the water system - it seemed to be connected to the toilet which sometimes did not flush well. We reported it at the desk when we left - really just a minor concern. Overall we had a very pleasant stay there. Liked the restaurant having tables on the beach - shades of "Death in Paradise" on the TV!"
