"There was a water bottle found under one bed in my room, and dirty tupperware under the other! Shower drain was extremely slow. Pool was over-chlorinated and only open 10am-9pm! General feel of the place was that it's getting worn out."

"Sonesta sold our room after I reserved and confirmed our room earlier that day. I told them exactly what time we would arrive, and they assured me all was good to go. When I arrived, rude man on phone wouldn’t open door and talked to me through phone (didn’t even see a face) and said manager quit, and when I asked name of person on phone he hung up on me, wouldn’t even open the door for me (even though I called back asking to talk to him about options) and called not one but THREE POLICE squad cars saying I threatened him. What I said was my husband was going to come talk on the phone because I was confused. The Olmstead Police were fantastic realizing we were just normal people confused by driving 7 hours and not having a place to stay late at night. Police pointed out a better hotel for us to stay next door. That hotel next store is top notch, took our honor points number, laughed at the cops being called, and booked us into a nice room immediately paying less than I was at Sonesta. We were not the only one this happened to, as a guest from new hotel told us. Expedia ensured a refund and apologized for our experience. No apology from Sonesta for calling 3 police squads on me. I can laugh at it now, but this goes down in books as official worst hotel experience. "

"The room was clean and the staff was friendly but this was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. There were doors slamming, couples fighting in the parking lot outside our window, and people yelling in the lobby until about 4AM. Bring noise cancelling headphones if you decide to stay here."

"Breakfast is served until 9 am. When we got there at 7:55, the scrambled eggs were nearing the end. When I asked staff for more, she said she wasn't making anymore. You had to place dirty dishes in a tub of dirty water, which splashed into my eye when I lowered the plate into the water. Very unsanitary "

"Disgusting!!!! Fell for the reviews and was highly disappointed. Our room had mud along all of the baseboards, to the point you could see the splatter of liquid everywhere. The bedding had stains all over it. The walls were filthy. The blinds were broken and on the floor. There were tums all over the floor. Absolutely disgusting, looks like they only make the bed between stays. We left immediately and found a different hotel. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!"

"I would rate this hotel as the worst I’ve ever been to. I’m always willing to give positive reviews and highlight aspects but the cleaning it was extremely poor! Human hair and steins on the bed sheets and bed towels. They literally just fixed the room without changing any linen at all. Although the staff was friendly and polite! "
