"Stayed here 3 times short walk from the station! Stayed in room 205 which is at the rear of the building so nice and quiet away from the city traffic noise! We always book DB&B excellent value, the hotel seemed quieter than previous visits. Pre-dinner drinks were very very limited as bar person said they were waiting for a delivery actually only Guinness on draft & beer fridge almost empty! My partner & I both choose the soup which was delicious he had chicken curry which was an large portion together with trimmings I choose seafood "

"A great stay at an iconic hotel, small signs of maintenance required but did not detract from the ambiance. We had a superior room with balcony overlooking the sea and oh what a spectacular view and the weather was in blue sky and sunshine mode. The service from checking in, restaurant and check out was warm, friendly and efficient. Well cooked and tasty choices in the menu. Overall a great experience."

"Despite being an old building and in need of some repairs we found the hotel to be very comfortable. Our room had been updated and was lovely. Staff were very good, helpful, friendly and infinately patient despite being very busy. (3 coach parties in all week, as well as other bookings). Food was very good quality and the chefs pleasant and helpful. Will being going again soon. "
